The ROWIG 221 AC/DC is a highly advanced single-phase portable inverter power source for TIG AC/DC welding. In TIG DC mode, it easily welds steel, stainless steel, and copper. The device is primarily used in the petrochemical, food, and construction industries with stringent requirements. The built-in PFC (Power Factor Corrector) reduces harmonic current emissions in accordance with CE guidelines. The Special HF control guarantees 100% fast and highly accurate arc ignition. Synergic arc ignition can be adjusted on the front panel by selecting the tungsten electrode diameter. The EXTRA FUSION function shifts the waveform to the negative side relative to the zero, resulting in deeper penetration and a precise weld pool, allowing welding at low current with an electrode tip similar to that of a TIG DC welding electrode. MIX AC-DC combines the efficiency of TIG AC welding with the high penetration of TIG DC welding, resulting in faster weld pool formation and faster welding. In DC mode, several special TIG functions are integrated as standard, such as: TIG fast pulse up to 2.5 kHz, Synergic Pulse, Quick Start, Q-spot, Dynamic Arc, and Multi-Tack. It can be equipped with water cooling, a foot pedal, and a remote control.
